1) Which CPR course do I need? ▼
Most healthcare roles (nurses, EMTs, students) require BLS. Advanced providers often need ACLS or PALS. Teachers, coaches, childcare and general workplace responders typically take Heartsaver® First Aid/CPR/AED.

2) How fast do I get my certification/eCard? ▼
You’ll receive an official American Heart Association eCard the same day you successfully complete your course (often within hours). Your eCard is employer-accepted and can be verified online instantly.
3) Are CPR certifications from GEAR UP with CPR accepted by hospitals and employers? ▼
Yes. We are an AHA training provider and issue official AHA eCards. These are the most widely recognized by hospitals, schools, and workplace safety programs. See all classes on the Courses page.
4) Can I get my CPR certification online? ▼
Yes. AHA eLearning (“HeartCode”) lets you complete coursework online for BLS, ACLS, and PALS, followed by a short, hands-on skills session (in person or virtual when applicable) to earn your eCard. Explore E-Learning options.
5) Do you offer evenings, weekends, or last-minute seats? ▼

6) What if I need to reschedule or cancel? ▼
