We provide a range of CPR and first aid training courses, including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and First Aid/CPR/AED for both healthcare professionals and the general public.
2. How do I register for a course? ▼
You can register for our courses directly on our website. Navigate to the "Courses" section, select the course you are interested in, and follow the registration instructions.
3. Are your courses accredited? ▼
Yes, all our courses are accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA). Upon successful completion, you will receive an official AHA certification.
4. If I reserved a seat on the American Heart Association website, do I still need to register on your website? ▼
Yes, registration information can be obtained from the Payment URL within the AHA class page or check your email for registration details.
5. What should I bring to the class? ▼
Please bring a valid photo ID, a notebook and pen, and comfortable clothing suitable for practicing CPR techniques.
6. Do you offer online or virtual classes? ▼
Yes, AHA Online Module for ACLS, PALS, and BLS. Email us the certificate, and schedule a Skills Session. These classes include comprehensive online modules and live sessions with our instructors.
7. What is your refund policy? ▼
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the class will receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the class will be subject to a 50% fee. No-shows will not receive a refund.
8. Can I reschedule my class? ▼
Yes, you can reschedule your class up to 48 hours before the scheduled time without any penalty. Please contact us directly to arrange a new date.
9. What happens if I fail the course? ▼
If you do not pass the course, you are welcome to retake the class at a reduced fee. Our instructors will provide additional support to ensure you pass on your next attempt.
10. Do you provide on-site training for businesses and organizations? ▼
Yes, we offer on-site training for businesses, schools, and other organizations. Contact us directly to schedule a session tailored to your group’s needs.
11. Are group discounts available? ▼
Yes, we offer group discounts for parties of 10 or more. Please contact us for more details.
12. What are the payment options? ▼
We accept all major credit cards and bank transfers. Payment details will be provided during the registration process.

14. How do I become an instructor? ▼
To become a CPR/AED Instructor:
Provider Status: Hold current Provider status in your desired discipline. You can obtain this during the Instructor course. For example, register for BLS Provider training on the same day as BLS Instructor training by selecting the 'BLS Provider' add-on during registration.
Complete Essentials Course: Finish the BLS Instructor Essentials online at elearning.heart.org.
Complete Instructor Course: Finish the BLS Instructor Course. Fee may be reduced if you pursue part-time teaching with Gear Up with CPR.
Get Monitored: Co-teach TWO courses. Teach ONE course independently while being audited by Training Center Faculty. Schedule your co-teaches and final audit. Our calendar updates weekly.

15. What is a manual and a pocket mask and do I need them? ▼
The AHA manual is the course book, and a CPR pocket mask is a device used to safely deliver rescue breaths during a cardiac or respiratory arrest. You will need both items for the class.
